The question we are asked most often is: Do you buy metals?
The Institute for Rare Earths and Metals AG does not buy or sell metals. We are, however, happy to connect clients within our network.
What is behind this clear statement?
Our core business is the storage, analysis and valuation of high-purity metals. As warehouse operator, analytical laboratory and independent valuer, we must maintain an unimpeachable distance from the market. We therefore make sure that this independence is preserved at all times.
The ISE network has grown organically over several decades. ISE AG currently serves more than 500 active clients and stores several hundred tonnes of high-purity metals and metal products.
ISE does not buy or sell metals. It currently works with three independent metal traders in Central Switzerland. For clients, this means access to contacts that have already completed compliance, KYC and anti-money-laundering checks. Coordinated contracts and established processes provide a reliable framework for transactions.

If you want to store, buy or sell a product from our area of high-purity metals and rare earths, we will find it right. All goods that store with us have an ISE documentation. As a buyer, they know exactly what they get and they get. As a salesman, they know exactly that they are in the right place to store and document your goods until sale. As a speculator, they know that your goods are well protected and stored at the ISE and, when sold, they have a perfect documentation.
The ISE does not buy or sell metals. The ISE is therefore currently serving three independent metal dealers in central Switzerland. This has the advantage for them as a customer that they sell through contacts that have already been made of all compliance, KYC and GWG tests.
